Cos'è il porno, esattamente?
"Il porno è qualsiasi contenuto visivo creato con l'intenzione esplicita di eccitare, allettare e piacere agli spettatori, con il consenso di tutti gli artisti o creatori coinvolti", afferma il Rev. Rucifer, educatore sessuale, artista e fondatore di Reiki Bondage.
OK, allora cosa non è il porno?
Ci sono due frasi nella definizione precedente di cui dovresti prendere nota: "intenzione esplicita" e "consenso".
La prima frase separa il porno, creato per eccitare sessualmente, da qualcosa come un catalogo di Victoria's Secret o il post di una modella di Instagram, che in genere utilizza materiale suggestivo per vendere qualcosa.
E quest'ultimo ("consensuale") separa il porno da cose come "revenge porn", abuso di video e contenuti sessuali di minori.
Contenuti di Instagram contro porno
Senza dubbio, ci sono foto di alcune bellezze poco vestite su Instagram (che in qualche modo * non * sono state rimosse a causa della censura).Ma questo contenuto non è necessariamente porno.
"Mostrare il tuo corpo non fa automaticamente qualcosa di porno", afferma Megan, esperta di branding e attivista dei grassi, fondatrice e performer dietro That Fat Babe.
"A meno che le persone non pubblichino il proprio corpo su Instagram con l'intento di consumarlo come un porno, non è porno", spiega Megan.
In effetti, ha creato un account OnlyFans (con il nome That Fat Babe) appositamente per differenziare i suoi contenuti Instagram dal porno che produce. (OnlyFans è un sito di sottoscrizione di contenuti.)
"Non ho creato il mio account Instagram con l'intento di far interagire le persone con i miei contenuti in modo sessuale", dice Megan.
Quando ha iniziato a ricevere richieste di contenuti più sessuali nei suoi DM, ha avviato un OnlyFans. Ora, quando qualcuno le invia un messaggio su Instagram chiedendole contenuti sessualmente espliciti, lei li indirizza ai suoi OnlyFans.
"Questo mi permette di decidere a cosa hanno accesso le persone, permettendomi anche di trarne profitto", dice Megan.
Ecco dove diventa un po 'complicato: spesso, gli artisti useranno Instagram per aiutare a commercializzare i loro contenuti pornografici.
Ad esempio, Megan gestisce un Instagram (@ThatFatBabe) dove promuove il suo account OnlyFans.
Rev. Rucifer usa il suo Instagram personale (@RevRucifer) per informare i suoi follower dei prossimi eventi o quando i suoi OnlyFans sono in vendita.
Ma questi post non sono porno. Sono progettati per condurti in un luogo in cui puoi consumare eticamente il porno.
Porno contro porno etico
"Porno etico" è diventato un po 'una parola d'ordine di recente, quindi potresti chiederti cosa significhi.
"La frase 'porno etico' è fortemente legata alle circostanze e all'ambiente in cui è stato prodotto il porno", afferma il reverendo Rucifer.
Il porno etico, secondo lei, è porno:
- fatto pensando al piacere, ai limiti e al benessere del talento
- che non si basa su tropi razzisti
- fatto su un set privo di molestie, sessismo, razzismo, omofobia e abusi
- dove gli artisti vengono pagati per il loro valore
In generale, si pensa che il porno etico rappresenti un sesso più "realistico" rispetto ad altri video su Internet.
Altre frasi che sono apparse con un intento simile includono:
- porno femminista
- porno del commercio equo e solidale
- porno costituzionale
- porno responsabile
- porno indipendente
Tutto il porno dovrebbe essere porno etico
"Al giorno d'oggi, il porno e il porno etico dovrebbero essere sinonimi: tutto il porno dovrebbe essere porno etico", dice il booty sexpert, performer e fanatico del BDSM Daya Dare.
Perché? Bene, perché se non è etico, non dovrebbe essere considerato porno, dice Dare.
Un modo per capirlo è pensare alla differenza tra sesso e aggressione.
Proprio come il comportamento sessuale non consensuale non è considerato sesso (è considerato aggressione), il porno non etico non dovrebbe essere considerato porno (dovrebbe essere considerato abuso).
I siti della metropolitana sono etici?
Ehhh.
"È difficile da dire", dice il Rev. Rucifer.
Un grande fattore determinante del porno etico è il modo in cui vengono negoziati i contratti degli artisti e ciò che vengono pagati. Sui siti di tubi, ovvero siti porno modellati su YouTube, è quasi impossibile trovare queste informazioni.
Come regola generale, però, Dare dice: "Se il consumatore non sta pagando per il suo porno, non sta consumando il suo porno in modo etico".
E la maggior parte di questi siti di tubi consente ai consumatori di porno di guardare gratuitamente.
OnlyFans è il canale di distribuzione più popolare per il porno etico
"Sfortunatamente, non ha un buon motore di ricerca", dice Dare.
Se, ad esempio, stai cercando un artista con i capelli rossi e digita "capelli rossi" nella barra di ricerca, gli unici artisti che verranno visualizzati sono quelli che hanno la frase "capelli rossi" nell'handle dell'account.
Per trovare gli account OnlyFans da seguire, il Rev. Rucifer consiglia di seguire gli artisti che già conosci che ti piacciono su Instagram.
"Molti artisti fanno un ottimo lavoro nel co-promuoversi a vicenda sui social media", afferma il Rev. Rucifer.
Reddit e Twitter sono altre buone strade, secondo Dare.
"Reddit è un posto particolarmente adatto per trovare artisti che soddisfano le tue esigenze specifiche", afferma Dare.
Ma OnlyFans non è l'unico canale di distribuzione
Altri canali a pagamento includono:

- AdultMemberSites
"Molti artisti stanno anche creando i propri siti Web a cui si accede direttamente per consumare i propri contenuti", aggiunge Dare.
Quindi, se trovi un artista che ti piace, non esitare a cercare su Google il suo nome o tocca il link nella sua biografia di Instagram per provare a trovare il suo sito web personale.
E se non volessi seguire solo * un * artista?
Fortunatamente, ci sono molte piattaforme porno a pagamento che stanno lavorando per rivoluzionare l'industria del porno con contenuti aggregati etici.

Non dimenticare di dare la mancia!
Se stai consumando porno su una piattaforma in cui la mancia è un'opzione, Megan consiglia di lasciare la mancia bene e spesso.
"Un modo per pensarci è che il tuo abbonamento è il tuo prezzo alla porta di un club, mentre i tuoi consigli sono quello che pagheresti per un drink, una lap dance o un piatto di nachos", spiega Megan.
La quantità di mancia varierà in base a cose come ciò che vuoi vedere, sentire o dire o se vuoi essere visto. Ma come regola generale, consiglia di lasciare una mancia di almeno $ 5 per ogni altra risposta.
"È imperativo che mostri all'artista che apprezzi il suo tempo e la sua creatività", dice Megan.
Cosa rende il porno diverso dagli altri tipi di lavoro sessuale?
In realtà, ciò che questa domanda si pone è: qual è la differenza tra porno e prostituzione?
Al momento della pubblicazione, la prostituzione - definita come l'atto di impegnarsi in rapporti sessuali IRL per denaro - è illegale ovunque negli Stati Uniti ad eccezione di alcune contee del Nevada.
Il porno, tuttavia, non è illegale. È considerata espressione artistica, quindi è consentita dal Primo Emendamento, purché non sia coinvolta l'oscenità.
In altre parole, secondo la legge, le prostitute sono pagate per fare sesso (illegale) mentre i performer porno sono pagati per agire (legali).
